Worship
Parkwood Church gathers for worship on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. On Sunday mornings Rev. Hurd continues with a series entitled "Doing practical things" based on 1 Thessalonians.
The sermons for the Sunday 10 a.m. services in audio format should be available on this website, usually within a day or two after each week's service.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper (i.e. Communion) is to be celebrated, God
willing, on the following dates: the first Sunday of March, June, October,
and December at the morning service, and at the evening service on Maundy
Thursday (the evening before Good Friday).
Pastoral Care
The elders of the congregation share with the minister in an organized program
of pastoral care and visitation. To assist the elders we have a Pastoral Care
Team of trained lay people.
Seminars & Courses
Short term courses, seminars, membership courses, workshops, film series on
family life, marriage, lifestyle evangelism, developing one's spirituality,
recognizing one's spiritual gifts, social issues - are offered throughout the
year.
