On August 30/26 Pastor James retired. Commencing September 1, Rev. Chris Clarke becomes Parkwood's Interim Moderator; Chris will help us find guest speakers as well as guide us through the process of searching for a new minister. Chris is the minister of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Ottawa. When Chris was a student at Presbyterian College he did his "in-ministry year" at Barrhaven Presbyterian Church under the supervision of James Hurd. He will be our guest speaker on September 6.

Communion... This coming Sunday morning, September 6, we celebrate the Lord's Supper.
For those joining us virtually who intend to participate, please have your bread and choice of drink prepared prior to the 10 a.m. service.
If you do participate please let us know, naming each person, either through the online chat during the service or by email
to the office at office@parkwoodchurch.ca.
Sunday School, etc.:
During the summer months, after the children's story, children going into Grade 5 and below are invited to watch a movie downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
Following the movie there will be age appropriate worksheets to complete. Children going into Grade 6 and above are encouraged to remain in the church service.
A nursery room is available for parents/caregivers of children under 2; this room is equipped with audio of the church service.
