Parkwood's YouTube channel is where our weekly livestreamed worship services are broadcast from, and where past services are stored for viewing after they
have been livestreamed; the channel also occasionally features videos of other events in the life of the congregation. We invite you to visit
"Parkwood Ottawa" on YouTube - click on the YouTube logo to go there; please consider subscribing to our channel. To do that you'll need a separate
YouTube account, but there's a benefit: whenever a livestreamed service is about to take place, you'll receive notification by email with a link to the service.
Also, videos are archived from time to time and removed from the channel. There's a complete list of archived services, both audio and video,
here, If there's a service in that list you'd like to see again, please contact the webservant.
Miscellaneous
Like history? Having marked the 60th anniversary of Parkwood's first service of worship, which took place
on Sunday, September 20, 1964 in Parkwood Hills Public School, we thought you might like to read some of our history. The first several pages of our Book of Thanksgiving,
covering the period July 9, 1964 through June 7, 1965 are available for your reading pleasure [HERE].
And speaking of Parkwood's history, did you know we've created an archive of Parkwood's Annual Reports covering the years 1964 through 2023?
This was undertaken as a school project by Cheyenne Copeland in the spring of 2023, and is available [HERE].
Parkwood and the PCC...
Many in the Presbyterian Church in Canada have been concerned since the 2021 General Assembly adopted remits on
human sexuality. More info on the subject is available on the Session Resources page.
Documents outlining Parkwood's position can be found here.
